Our Round Stock Blades represent a premium approach to ophthalmic wound construction. Crafted entirely from fine stainless-steel wire, these blades provide a level of structural finesse, control, and cutting efficiency that traditional strip blades cannot match. The cylindrical core wire enables precise multi-faceted sharpening, granting surgeons lower penetration resistance and an unobstructed view under the operating microscope.

To satisfy both high-volume surgical efficiency and high-end clinical performance demands, the range is available in two technical tiers:

• Standard Tier: High-performance, wire-ground blades delivering crisp incision profiles and clean tissue tracking.

• Premium Tier: Crafted using a specialized grinder-less manufacturing process. This tier yields a matte finish and an incredibly consistent cutting edge that significantly minimizes drag force through dense ocular tissue.

Comprehensive Blade Selection Matrix

• Sideport / Stab Blades: Purpose-built to create the paracentesis or side-port incision for secondary instrument access. The round-wire construction enables an especially fine, sharp tip for smooth, stable tissue puncture.

• Standard Tier: Available in 0 Deg / 15 Deg, 30 Deg, and 45 Deg angulations, as well as 45 Deg Right and Left Bevel variants.

• Premium Tier: Available in 0 Deg / 15 Deg angulation with low-drag grinder-less edges.

• Tip Style & Presentation: Lance tip with a protective handle cap to prevent sharps injuries.

• Slit / Keratome Blades: Engineered to form a precise, primary incision matched to your specific phaco and I/A instrumentation to ensure chamber stability and minimize wound leakage.

• Standard Tier: Bevel up 45 Deg, available in sizes from 1.0 mm to 3.2 mm.

• Premium Tier: Bevel up 45 Deg and specialized Bi-Bevel configurations (2.0 mm to 3.2 mm) featuring low-resistance grinder-less technology.

• Clear Cornea Blades: Designed for a precise, smooth linear clear-corneal approach. Available in our Standard tier (sizes 2.2 mm to 3.2 mm) in a 45 Deg Bi-Bevel up configuration, as well as a Parallel-Sided variant. The parallel-sided blade incorporates built-in depth-reference markings (1.0 mm, 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm) to support staged wound construction while preventing accidental widening during instrument movement.

• MVR (Micro Vitreoretinal) Blades: Offered exclusively in the Round Stock range to achieve a needle-fine, round-wire geometry. These blades deliver unmatched tactile control when fashioning precise, watertight vitreoretinal ports or cataract side-ports. Available in straight (0 Deg) and angled (40 Deg) configurations.

• Standard Gauges: 19G, 20G, 23G, 24G, 25G.

• Premium Gauges: 20G, 23G, 24G, 25G featuring ultra-low drag through scleral tissue.

• Crescent / Tunnel Blades: Used to fashion uniform, self-sealing scleral tunnel valve incisions without the need for sutures. The fine wire-ground edge sweeps smoothly through tissue at a consistent depth. Available in Bevel up 45 Deg.

  • Standard Sizes: 1.25 mm, 2.0 mm, 2.2 mm, 2.6 mm.

  • Premium Sizes: 1.25 mm, 2.2 mm, 2.6 mm with a friction-reducing grinder-less finish.

• Enlarger Blades (Implant Keratome): Dedicated to extending a primary incision cleanly and symmetrically prior to IOL implantation. Available in the Standard tier (Bevel up 45 Deg) across sizes 3.5 mm, 4.0 mm, 5.1 mm, and 5.5 mm to support both foldable and rigid delivery systems.
